Meet our Founding Patron  – Secret Millionaire Carl Hopkins.

Having first met Carl in his capacity as an Enterprise UK Judge, the ‘Are You Ready?’ team saw clear links between Carl’s work and ethos and their campaign to develop a culture of enterprise and entrepreneurialism in all schools and colleges.

Best known for his appearance on Channel 4’s The Secret Millionaire, Carl is working with the ‘Are You Ready?’ team to further spread the message that “not everyone will be an entrepreneur, but everyone will need to be enterprising.”

Both a marketing “guru” and serial entrepreneur himself, Carl is passionate about the future for young people and helping to equip them with the skills and attitudes they will need to be successful.

“When I saw the ‘Are You Ready?’ programme and the positive effect it has on teachers and pupils, some as young as 6 years old, I saw this as a natural extension of my aims and I wished to support this award winning enterprise initiative. (Carl Hopkins, 2011)”
