As part of the acclaimed Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council Children’s Festival, our Founding Patron, Carl Hopkins was invited to speak at the Leadership Conference attended by Rotherham Head teachers and school leaders at Magna Science and Adventure Centre.
Carl led an hour long session focussed on the challenges schools and educators face in adequately preparing young people for the world of work in the 21st century.
With a passionate and humorous speech detailing his experiences of education Carl shared stories of his own teachers who left an impact for all the right (and all the wrong) reasons.
Carl’s story in education is a challenging one yet he shared his thoughts and offered inspiration for school leaders to create a more prosperous and enterprising future for our young people.
